The name change arrives with a new identity featuring the Talking Stick logo that is based on a concept by local Pima artist and calendar stick carver Royce Manuel. The logo features icons representing the SRPMIC, The Pavilions at Talking Stick, Talking Stick Golf Club, Talking Stick Resort and Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, the new spring training home for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.
